Just a couple cute candids of Legend as a pup - swimming is still a favorite pastime of his!

Legend FINALLY finishes his AKC Championship at the Los Lunas, NM shows in October 2009. A huge thanks to Perry Payson for taking him in for his Open class (I was thrilled to be able to handle Legend in the Winners class and to his Best of Winners award that gave him the last major he needed!)! It's been a VERY long road...Legend turned seven years old in February 2010 -- but I've learned a LOT over the past six years...and I'm so thankful to Legend for putting up with me for SO many years of dog shows! Now, I'm looking forward to stepping back out into the ring at Specialties with him as a Veteran!

Agility was the one sport that I thought I would skip -- too much practice, too much risk of injury, and too much time -- well, a friend of mine convinced me otherwise and suggested that I enter Legend in his first (and my first!) agility trial in September 2009 - we had only taken a couple private lessons before the trial, but came away with 3 out of 4 qualifying runs and a Novice Jumpers Preferred Title -- and I was hooked! Legend LOVES agility and has since completed his Excellent Jumpers Preferred Title, and his Excellent Standard Preferred Title - we're still working on his masters titles...and perhaps we'll earn some PACH points and double QQs too! I'm so happy to be able to spend his senior years with him competing in something that he really loves!
